PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

After obtaining my medical degree in 1995 from India, worked in Chest Medicine in teaching hospital before immigrating to UK in 1997; where I obtained ‘dual specialist’ qualification in anaesthesia (2006) and Pain medicine (2013). I was employed in National Health Service Wales as a Consultant for 8 years before moving to Australia in 2014.

I also had the honour of obtaining ‘dual specialist’ fellowship in Anaesthesia and Pain medicine in Australia. I have now obtained 10 years’ experience in Australia working in Queensland state and Northern territory before moving to South Australia in 2023.

I have gained a broad base experience in my specialist field through my work in both anaesthesia and pain medicine, giving me ability to see patient perspective and provide a total wholistic care for their best outcomes.
